How to see what was trending on Google on a past date

Google Trends only shows the last 7 days of trending searches. Here is how to see trending searches for any past date by country.

Google's Trending Now page only goes back 7 days. After that, the list is gone from Google, though it can still be found in archives.

Find a date

1. Pick a country on the Trends page.
2. Choose a day, or browse by month and year.
3. Use the world view to see what trended across countries on one day.

What's covered

Country-level trends from November 28, 2024, the top 200 a day. There's a gap from May 18 to late October 2026, and some single days are missing. Volumes are Google's rounded minimums, so 500K+ means at least 500,000 searches.
