How to get Google Trends Trending Now data with an API

Google has no public API for Trending Now. Get trending searches as JSON by country or region, live or for past dates.

Google doesn't offer a general public API for Trending Now, so there are two practical options.

Live data

This returns every trend Google lists for the last 4, 24 or 48 hours or 7 days, with search volume, start time, related searches and category:
