How to see App Store rank history for free

Where to look up an app's past App Store and Google Play ranks for free, by country and chart, and how to get today's rank.

The App Store only shows today's charts. To see where an app ranked last week, you need a site that saved the chart on that day.

Look up one app

  1. Search for the app by name or developer.
  2. Open its page to see every chart it's in, with its latest and best rank.
  3. Pick a chart under Rank over time to see the daily line.

See a whole chart on a past day

Open a chart such as top free apps in the US and step back a day at a time, or change the date in the URL.

What's covered

PastCharts has saved App Store charts daily since November 6, 2026, in 30 countries, and Google Play in 15. Older ranks aren't available here. Commercial tools such as AppTweak and Similarweb sell longer history.
